A one-page devotional thought.

We are living in rapidly changing times when God’s time clock seems to have increased its pace. Signs Jesus detailed that would more clearly indicate his coming, are dovetailing together in rapid sequence. (Matthew 24) When you see these things, Jesus told us, “Look up.”

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent (lacking self-restraint), fierce, despisers of those that are good. Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof; from such turn away.(II Tim. 3:1-5 KJV)

Prophecy is given to prepare us – not to scare us. (Psalm 18:11) God’s Word encourages us to stay alert; be ready; keep our head in the game; and be aware of the times and seasons.

I will seldom venture down this road, but today I feel to gently raise the flag to encourage us to be more aware of the times and the seasons we live in. Jesus did the same in his parable of the ten virgins concluding with – “keep watch!” (Matthew 25:1-13)

In our rapidly changing world, there are four terms emerging of which we must cautiously be aware – each helping to push a new world order. I say “cautiously” because the Bible informs us that certain things must happen – like it or not – that will advance God’s prophetic agenda for the ages. (eg. Matthew 24:14) Paul talked of them as “groanings and birth pains.” (Romans 8:18-27)

The first term is “Synthetic Biology.” This is an umbrella term that includes a bizarre fringe obsession with the second term which is “transhumanism” or the fusion of human beings with technology. Dr. Miklos Lukacs de Pereny, a respected professor at an elite university in Peru, claims that the Fourth Industrial Revolution is “nothing other than the implementation of transhumanism on a global level which is the fusion of our physical, digital, and biological identities.”

Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Director of the World Economic Forum, further supports this notion when he said, “This physical and biological fusion will come as chips are ultimately embedded into our brains.” As outrageous as this sounds, global elites eagerly attend Schwab’s conferences and sign up to be “Young Global Leaders.” Bringing all these things together, we see a clear vision emerging to remake our global humanity and economy.

The third term is “The Great Reset.” It’s a relatively new term that has gained incredible traction triggered by the coronavirus pandemic. It points to the need for a new world order.

The other new term to watch out for has to do with the way our governments control us. Over 20 states in the USA are currently pushing for “Centralized Digital Currency.” (04/23) This is little more than software – but it gives governments control of your money and thus control of you.

Should we be worried? Not worried! (Phil. 4:6-7) But alert! And steadfast! We’ve read the last chapter and we win. “Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who finds great delight in his commands. He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. His heart is secure, he will have no fear; in the end, he will look in triumph on his foes.” (Psalm 112:1, 7, 8)

“But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him.” (II Cor. 2:14)

Be blessed my friend.
